The Cobra Group of Companies
The Cobra Group of Companies started selling consumables more than 25 years ago in Sydney, Australia, with the ambition of building one of the world's largest and most successful sales and marketing companies.
This goal has been achieved, with Cobra’s direct sales and marketing subsidiary – Appco Group – now a global industry leader with more than 800 offices in 26 countries on five continents.
Over the last five years, Cobra has worked particularly hard to diversify into other businesses that complement Appco’s core expertise.
As a result, the Cobra Group today is a billion-dollar group of diversified companies with interests in sales and marketing, insurance, financial services, motorsport, energy and high-tech manufacturing.
The Cobra Group's CRS Racing subsidiary, for example, has joined forces with McLaren to develop and produce GT3 racing cars based on the new McLaren MP4-12C road car. The Cobra Group also has a number of strategic investments in play with a series of exciting global ventures managed through Cobra Investments – a global investment fund. And Cobra Foundation was established to give something back to the community, and it is making a difference to lives around the world.
Cobra’s journey continues to be a runaway success and is continuing to build on its diversified group of entrepreneurial companies, all with the common theme of opening up a world of opportunity to the people associated with them.
