Hostage negotiator gives communication lesson
A hostage negotiator has given business owners and sales professionals a new perspective on effective communication at a recent two-day workshop, hosted by Appco Group UK.
Drawing on his own professional experiences, Richard Mullender gave advice on listening properly, and getting the most out of conversations when he appeared as a guest speaker at the event for 300 budding entrepreneurs.
The workshop weekend also gave participants the opportunity to take part in sessions focussed on business management and understanding self-employment, and the chance to network and learn from each other.
